Hi! I’m Rhianna. I own Rhian’s Waggy Retreat. I have been working with dogs for around 10 years. Currently, I am helping to train and socialise a very beautiful Labrador for the charity Dogs for Good.
I decided to set up Rhian’s Waggy Retreat some time ago when I was wishing to go on holiday. I really struggled to find somewhere I felt was suitable for my loved family pooch. So, we set about creating the perfect place for a dog’s holibobs or daycare, hence the birth of Rhian’s Waggy Retreat.
We treat your pooch as a loved member of our family. Our day includes 2 lovely walks along with plenty of enrichment. Did you know that 10 minutes of mental stimulation can be as mentally tiring as a 1hours walk? Should you wish to add on a training session to brush up on some skills we can happily accommodate this and can easily tailor-make a structure for your pooch.
You can rest assured that your adored pooch will have a wonderful time with us. We give them the love and attention they deserve allowing you to switch off, relax and enjoy your day or holiday.
Regular communication is sent. We will WhatsApp a personal message, photo or videos to keep you updated with your pooch’s adventure. We pride ourselves on providing your dog with wonderful care and look after them as if they were our own.

COME AND MEET US
It’s super important to come and see for yourself what we offer. The nature of our set up is natural, relaxed home and doesn’t suit all dogs. It does suit dogs that are social by nature and dogs that can be loving and respectful around our children. It is part of our terms that all dogs must have a day’s trial with us prior to For this reason we are not able to accept whole male dogs or female dogs in or around their season.
All dogs are required to come for a day or overnight trial before any further bookings can be made. We can give you our honest opinion on whether we believe your pooch will thrive in our unique family home. We will discuss your dog needs and requirements, observe how they interact with food, toys, people and other dogs. This is also reassuring if you are worried about how your dog will settle.
